Travel the Amazing Regions of Colombia
The fantastic island of San Andrés, which belongs to Colombia, is one of the world’s most popular destinations for adventurous individuals.
The island is located in the Caribbean Sea and, besides having many beautiful walks and marvelous bays, it has a peculiar phenomenon that amazes both locals and foreigners: the water can have up to 7 different colors.
The explanation for the wide range of different colors that the water of the island possesses is related to its diverse ecosystem, where over 80 species of corals coexist with a large variety of marine fauna.
In the year 2000, the island was declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO to preserve and protect the biodiversity of its marine fauna, which is crucial for the ecosystem.
There’s no doubt that this island is marvelous. If you are a person who enjoys traveling, perhaps it’s time to add it to your list and plan a visit soon.the culture is a melange of Caribbean flavours and Caribbean languages.
